BIOGRAPHY

Gordon Peake was born in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland in 1973. His first book was a memoir of life in Timor-Leste, one of the world’s newest and least visited nations.

The book, Beloved Land: Stories Struggles and Secrets from Timor-Leste, was winner of the 2014 Australian Capital Territory Book of the Year and People’s Choice Award. He is trying to finish off a difficult second album of a book which is about Bougainville

Gordon lives in Washington D.C. with his wife, Suzanne, and their two boys, Charlie and Patrick.
